Akunna: what a great job on your one-page reflection for the most memorable moment :) your use of grammar and descriptions of the characters are so unique and very descriptive! Gatsby's love for Daisy was very fascinating to read about. The intensity, the heartbreak, and the death of Gatsby was very memorable. Overall your reflection is well put together.
Comment on Bushra’s Character Analysis- By Akunna Nwaogu
I really enjoyed reading your character analysis and I thought that you chose good characters to analyze. I agree with what you said about how Gatsby only wanted to become rich and popular to get Daisy’s attention so that she would love him again. Great choice of quotations and I think that they enhanced your analysis in an effective way. I have to disagree with you about Tom being patient because personally I just think he is ignorant and apathetic. Plus Tom cheated on his wife plenty of times, so should he really be one to judge? My thoughts on Daisy are similar to yours, it is clear that her life goal is wealth and status and these motives are evident throughout the novel. Your analysis was very insightful and organized. Keep up the good work Bushra!
Akunna: well done on your analysis. Your grammar was excellent and you analyzed the characters well. Your understanding of your section is outstanding. However, your analysis had to be either in the role of a character or interviewing the character. Overall, your analysis was extraordinary.
